6 weeks ago I was sitting in the hospital....
I was induced and they started me on pitocin at about 10:30am (picture taken right after).
By 3 I was having some intense contractions and around 5:15 I told them to GIVE ME THE DRUGS!!
Thankfully my mom was there to help out the first two days after Jace was born!
And to take him to the doctor for the first time;( (it was snowing!)
Then mom left and we were on our own for a week and a half...and it was a busy week and a half! Zach was taking finals getting ready to graduate and I was home alone with Jace.
When he was six days old we had some friends come over and the wife, Kayleigh, and I took some AWESOME new born shots of Jace! She did a great job! Shooting and I played around with props and positioning of Jace. He was SO good!! And had never been that awake and alert ever!
We've got ourselves a little model!
I bought this scale seven months before, shortly after I found out we were pregnant, with this picture in my head...gave me an excuse to buy it, the first 'baby' purchase...but multipurposed (only way I do!!)
My mom got these CUTE letters for like a buck a piece at KMart! Jace was born with pretty dark hair!
The little Booker, our border collie, was my valentine's gift and Zach's first...and only baby purchase! The books, (I just love) I bought at an antique store years ago when I was still in high school and have been WAITING for a baby!!
Jace has been a really smilie baby! We love it! After he eats he is just so happy I guess! (Gets that from his momma!) just today, while eating, he laughed for real for the time...so cute!
Zach's family came into town(Rexburg) when Jace was 11 days old and Zach graduated from BYU-Idaho was Jace was just 11 days old.
His 12th day was spent at a volleyball tournament of some friends(Kendra and Macie Knapp) while Zach and his family loaded our HUGE moving truck, bless their souls! I had to leave the house because I knew I would go crazy because I couldn't help.
Day 13 our little guy was blessed by his dad...Zach's father and brothers, minus Jenner on his missin, and our awesome bishop stood in the circle. He was very well behaved and Zach said he smiled during it. Zach did a wonderful job as mom sat there crying:/
Day 14 we hit the road...925 miles from Rexburg to Surprise Az! We stopped one day to meet Greatgradma Cooley, sweetest lady!
We made it to Surprise on the 16th of April and with help from the Jansen clan and Grandma Scrimsher we were able to get moved in pretty quick!
We spent Easter weekend with the Van Orman's, they were so sweet and lived baby Jace! It was so nice to take a break from moving and just relax at their beautiful home!
When we got home Zach started his job and I was alone with Jace again... I love it! I can't tell you what we do all day....but it's fun and I just love spending every day with Jace! He is growing so fast and recently celebrated one month!
The ongoing question in everyone's mind...Cooley...or Scrimsher?? I can't tell at all!!:/ This past weekend was Mother's Day, I had an awesome time getting a break from boys
And any day now I'll get back to getting and staying fit...stay tuned for that too!
